Activity 1: warm up 3 ms

– Teach new words: numbers, address, lane, road, floor, flat, tower .

– Content: Look, listen and repeat

– Procedure:

+ Show the picture a and elicit the answer of who the characters are.

+ Explain what happens in the picture.

+ Have Ss repeat the text in the bubbles a few times.

+ Repeat the procedure with the picture b.

+ Do choral & individual repetition, pointing to the characters speaking.

+ Play the tape for Ss to listen & say along.

+ Write the pattern on the board

Activity 3: Practice

  • Procedure:

+ Point to each character in the picture & elicit his/ her address & the words to fill the gaps.

+ Write the whole sentences on the board.

+ Have Ss repeat the text in the bubbles a few times.

+ Repeat the procedure with the second picture.

+ Do choral & individual repetition, using the characters’ name as prompts.

Activity 4: Production

  • Content: let’s talk

– Procedure:

+ Elicit the names of the characters & what each one says.

+ Fill the bubbles & write the sentences on the board.

+ Get Ss to repeat the text a few times.

+ Have Ss practice in groups & pairs.

+ Get sts time to work in groups of four to ask each other’s addresses, using the structure.

+ Invite student to play bean bag circle game.
